These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and PINIT LLP (“Pinit,” “we,” “us,” “our”), governing your use of the Pinit Rider (the “Rider App”) and related systems (the “Services”). Where you are employed by an authorized Pinit franchise, your Employer is that franchise and these Terms apply to your use of the Rider App in that role.
By logging into or using Pinit Rider App, you agree to these Terms, the Rider Code of Conduct, and the Rider App Privacy Notice. Using the Rider App is a condition of your engagement as a Pinit rider.
1. Eligibility and authorized use
- You must be at least 18 years old and a currently authorized Pinit or franchise rider.
- You may use the Rider App only for Pinit work assigned to you, and only while your engagement is active.
- Access is personal to you. You must not share your login, let anyone else operate the app under your identity, or use another rider's account.
- You must hold and maintain any licence, permit, or documentation your role and local law require (e.g., a valid driving licence).
2. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Rider App on a permitted device solely to perform your Pinit duties. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. The licence ends automatically when your engagement ends or your access is revoked.
3. Your account and credentials
- Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, except unauthorized use you promptly report.
- Report lost devices, suspected account compromise, or unauthorized use immediately to admin@pinitsarees.com .
4. Devices (company and BYOD)
- Company devices: remain company property, may be subject to mobile device management (MDM), and must be returned on offboarding.
- Personal (BYOD) devices: you are responsible for a compatible, secure device, its connectivity, and its charges. We manage only the Rider App and its work data on your device.
- You must keep the app updated, keep the device's OS supported, and not use the app on a rooted/jailbroken or compromised device.
5. Location tracking and monitoring — acknowledgement
You acknowledge and understand that, while you are clocked in to an active shift or task, the Rider App collects precise location and derived metrics (including idle time and ETA / arrival-performance scoring), and records trip, delivery, cash, and communication data, as described in the Rider App Privacy Notice. This monitoring is limited to on-shift activity and is used to operate the service, ensure safety and security, and manage performance. Location is not collected off-shift.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Rider App for anything other than authorized Pinit work.
- Falsify location, proof of delivery, cash records, timestamps, or any data in the app.
- Disable, spoof, or interfere with location, monitoring, or security features.
- Misuse customer data or contact details, or contact customers outside the app for non-work purposes.
- Tamper with, reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass access controls of the Services.
- Install unauthorized software on a company device or connect the app to unapproved systems.
Detailed conduct rules — including customer conduct, suitcase custody, and cash handling — are in the Rider Code of Conduct & Acceptable Use, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Cash, deposits, and settlement
- You may collect booking deposits, COD, and payments only as the app directs, and must record every collection accurately.
- You must remit or reconcile all collected amounts per company procedure and within the required time.
- Shortfalls, unremitted cash, or missing goods may be recovered or adjusted in accordance with your employment contract and applicable law (lawful deductions only).
8. Custody of goods
Suitcases and sarees you carry remain Pinit's property until sold and handed over. You are responsible for their safe custody during a task and must return all unselected/unsold items as instructed. Loss, theft, or damage due to negligence or misconduct may have employment and legal consequences.
9. Confidentiality and data protection
- Treat customer data (names, addresses, phone numbers, order details) as confidential. Use it only to complete the assigned task.
- Do not copy, photograph, share, or retain customer data outside the app.
- Your confidentiality obligations continue after your engagement ends.
10. Intellectual property
The Rider App, its software, design, logos, and trademarks are owned by Pinit or its licensors. “Pinit” and our logos are our trademarks; do not use them without permission. Any feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
11. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Rider App at any time for operational, security, or legal reasons. We aim to give notice of material changes where practical.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE RIDER APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. NOTHING HERE LIMITS YOUR NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS AS AN EMPLOYEE OR UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINIT LLP AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND FRANCHISE PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE RIDER APP. THIS DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW, INCLUDING STATUTORY EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Rider App at any time in line with your employment contract, our policies, or where there is a risk to the platform, customers, goods, cash, or other people. Your access ends automatically when your engagement ends. Provisions that by nature survive — confidentiality, IP, cash-recovery, liability limits, and dispute terms — survive termination.
15. Apple App Store — additional terms (EULA)
If the Rider App is obtained from the Apple App Store, Apple's minimum EULA terms apply:
- Acknowledgement: these Terms are between you and Pinit only, not Apple; Pinit is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Scope of licence: limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, per the App Store Terms.
- Maintenance and support: Pinit is solely responsible; Apple has no obligation.
- Warranty: Pinit is responsible for any warranty; Apple has none.
- Claims and IP: Pinit, not Apple, handles app-related and third-party IP claims.
- Legal compliance: you confirm you are not in an embargoed country or on a U.S. restricted-parties list.
- Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these Terms as third-party beneficiaries.

16. Google Play — additional terms
If the Rider App is obtained from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable employment or consumer rights and any dispute mechanism in your employment contract, the courts at Hyderabad, India have jurisdiction. Where you are engaged by a franchise in another jurisdiction, the governing law/venue in your employment contract for that franchise applies to employment matters.
18. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Rider Code of Conduct, the Rider App Privacy Notice, and your employment contract together govern your use of the Rider App.
- Severability: if a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may, in a merger, acquisition, or franchise change.
